Axe & Trap Studios is a recording facility situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, England.

Axe and Trap is a recording studio located in the city of Wells, Somerset, home of producer/engineer Ben Scott Turner.

The studio has three performance spaces –  a large live room, a second ‘dead room’, two isolated booths and a control room featuring a 24 channel Trident console and extensive analogue outboard, as well as running all the major DAW’s with Prism converters. Axe and Trap also has a lounge/ kitchenette, bathroom, storage and car parking.

45 mins drive from south Bristol and 35 mins drive from Bath, the studio caters for recording artists and bands of any size, as well as being the perfect location for voice-over and podcast recordings.

THE STUDIO

The studio holds a wide selection of instruments – from drums to guitars, stompboxes to vintage amps and keys. As well as our extensive list of microphones and analogue outboard gear.
